There is a one-day archaeological conference being held at Nottingham University on Saturday 5 October which may be of interest to Society members. Its theme is recent research work which is advancing the objectives of the East Midlands Historic Environment Research Framework (EMHERF), in particular one of the afternoon talks focuses on the  lead industry but there are others with an industrial archaeological theme.
