PDMHS hosts free guided tours at Magpie Mine during the annual UK Heritage Open Days. No need to book, just turn up. The event is usually very well attended and parking space is limited, however the site is on several footpaths so why not park nearby and enjoy a short stroll through the fields. It’s easy to find: two tall chimneys!
